JUNKIE RUSH
JunkieRush consists of five of Central Florida's most respected musicians, combining elements of
rock, funk, punk, reggae/ska
and world music into a unique sound that is all their own. The name
refers to the powerful, addictive effect of the music and the positive
vibe and attitude of the songs. As the band likes to put it, "the music
is the junk, kid!". Combining world-class musicianship with memorable
songwriting, the band has gained a reputation as an incredible live
act, and has performed up the east coast from Florida to New York as
well as the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
JunkieRush was originally formed by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Bobby Koelble in 2000 (and reformed in 2006). Bobby was also a member of the seminal metal band Death (featured on the critically acclaimed CD "Symbolic"). Although quite a departure from his metal roots, JunkieRush still features the strong guitar work that he's known for. Rounding out the lineup are Matt Gallagher (bass, vocals), Nathan Anderson (sax, flute, vocals), Ito Colon (percussion) and Thatcher (drums).
JunkieRush releases their 3rd studio CD "Musica" on August 29, 2009. Produced and engineered by Brett Hestla (Virgos Merlot, Dark New Day, Creed), it's their best-sounding and most ambitious recording to date, and is available on CDbaby.com and iTunes. Florida's own eclectic, jazz, and funk groove ensemble, Shak Nasti, provides an escape from your every day, run of the mill band with pop-infused melodies that co-exist with experimental interludes of pure funk delight. An evening with the powerhouse that is Shak Nasti is truly a unique musical experience. The musicians skillfully navigate through a gamut of musical styles leaving the listener electrified and wondering if there's anything this band can't play.
What sets Shak Nasti apart from many bands is the variety of sounds and styles coming from the same group of people. There's the thumposaurus bass funk of Matt Lapham, the jazzy, afro beat sense of Rion Smith ( drummer for Grammy nominated Sam Rivers' RivBea Orchestra), all tied together by Tim Turner's skillfully crafted compositions and soulful guitar playing. Who are the Nouveaux Honkies? Well head down south on the east coast of Florida and you might run into them in the town of Salerno. This small commercial fishing town is the stomping ground of singer/guitarist Tim O’Donnell and violinist Rebecca Dawkin. The group started touring after their second album “Where Do I Go” hit the market in 08’. After a run to Montana and Idaho that summer the album made its debut on the Roots Music Report, “Roots Country” charts at 14. "Where Do I Go" climbed to 3 with a fifty week run on the charts. Blues Review Magazine linked the sounds to The Stones, with hints of Dire Straights, Curtis Mayfield, Hendrix, and Wolf. O’Donnells vocal style was said to be “an amalgam of Van Morrison and Willy DeVille”. Violinist Rebecca Dawkins crafts her lead lines over popping rhythms and their unique blend of blues, swing and country becomes the sound that fans describe as a reinvention of the musical wheel. In June of 09' their 3 album "Live at Sun" was released. This 5 song EP was recorded live at Sun Studios and saw the top 20 on the Roots Blues Charts. They are also putting the finishing touches on the songs for their next LP. Late August puts them on their first tour through the Northeast with stops in NYC and the Rhythm and Roots Festival in Rhode Island. Aquaphonics started in 2001 as a jam session between original members
alan and jessiah and at the time billy gilmore on guitar. The guys
played a few shows around south florida, and went their separate ways
soon after. in 2006 the band got back together for a solid year long
run doing shows all over florida. billy had other commitments with
other projects that took him all over the world and landed him in
asheville N.C. so with the absence of billy gilmore, alan and jessiah
tried out other projects, but didn't find the freedom and enjoyment
that aquaphonics brought them. in late 2008 the two joined up with
steve elmore, a local musician and song writer. steve ushered in a
whole new element to the band, before steve they were purely
instrumental, but now you can find them taking on three part harmonies.
(UPDATE) as of july 30th 2009 Aquaphonics is proud to welcome our
newest member Jim Dinsmore on the bass. with jim's help Aquaphonics is
ready to soar to all new heights. Aquaphonics sound is influenced more
by the band members than any one band or type of sound, for that they
deliver a show with a variety of flavors. our most flattering
complement was posted on archive.org and it said. " it's like medeski,
martin, and wood had an orgy with the guys from the Meters and their
offspring were the aquaphonics...and during this orgy at some point the

Diocious is a psychedelic funk rock trio based out of Central Florida. Focusing on progressive song writing and arrangement, a driving dance beat, and the use improvisation, the trio yields to the spontaneity of the moment in the live setting, injecting new rhythms and melodies into their compositions.
In just two and a half years, the band has played, opened and headlined at premiere venues all over the Southeast including The Social (Orlando), Common Grounds (Gainesville), The Engine Room (Tallahassee), Skipper's Smokehouse (Tampa) Freebird Live (Jax) and The Orange Peel (Asheville). In addition, Diocious has opened for regional and national acts like The Stanton Moore Trio (Galactic), Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Dubconscious, Benevento-Russo Duo, and have done multi-show tours with Tea Leaf Green (St. Pete, Jax, Orlando), Toubob Krewe (2 tours, Orlando, Gainesville, Tampa) and Zach Deputy (Tallahassee, Gainesville).

Raised in Stuart, Florida, Billy began playing music at the age of
seven, starting on the 5 string banjo, and eventually moving onto
guitar, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, keyboards, steel guitar, guitar
synth...basically anything you can make musical sounds with! Raised on
the Bluegrass festivals that his parents brought him to, he apllies
basic forms of theory and improvisation learned in the jazz programs he
learned in college paired with the lifetime of experience playing with
great musicians while developing the stlye that is all his own. He has
enjoyed touring both internationally, and across the United States
playing many venues and festivals with various lineups.Billy has toured and played with groups such as The Hickory Project, The Grass is Dead, Stonehouse, Crazy Fingers, The Stains of Grass, Aquaphonics, and most currently the Brittany Reilly Band. He has shared the stage with many incredible musicians such as Sam Bush, Peter Rowan, Vassar Clements, Drew Emmit etc. Billy has been touring full time with Brittany Reilly since early 2007, and sporadically throughout 2006.

KELLI DEBBS
Kelli Debbs is a singer/songwriter from
the Tampa Bay area. Her
journey began while participating in musical theater as a teen. It was at
this time Debbs discovered her passion for the stage, and even more so, her
passion for singing. Her
power-house voice, fueled by gripping melodies, carries so far we can’t help
but be stunned.
Around the age of twenty, Debbs realized
she had more than a voice inside her. As soon as
she picked up guitar, the songs seemed to come naturally. After only
one year of teaching herself how to play (giving her a style that is all her
own), Debbs began writing and has continued to do so for the past 6
years. She
studied abroad in London for two years and upon returning in 08’, decided to
move full-force ahead in following her music. She is now
booking small venues and festivals in Florida, and has been doing so for the
past year.
Because of the overwhelming response she
has received, Debbs has decided it is time to take the next step. She has
recently finished her debut E.P., “Dreamers and Insomniacs,” and is releasing
it on Feb 27, 2010. The E.P.
features artists from all genres of music, from a classical violinist to a
metal drummer, and rings eclectic as a result of these influences.

THE 5-4 BAND We are the 5-4's, a local band out of Ft. Pierce playing every from southern rock and alternative to blues and country. We have been playing together for 2 years and have had great results with our fan following and the venue holders as well. The band consists of Jake Pfeiffer - lead vocals/acoustic guitar, Kacey Breach - lead guitar, back-up vocals, Zak Pfeiffer - Rhythm Guitar, Norman Knowles - Bass Guitar, and John Pfeiffer - Drums.
